TCVM and emotional aspects of the Liver meridian:
According to the Five Element Theory, the Liver is associated with the Wood Element and plays a vital role in detoxification and energy regulation.
Since beef liver supports the Liver organ, it aligns with the Wood Element and provides a direct source of nourishment and balance.
The theory of "Like Treats Like" tells us that similar qualities in foods can support corresponding organs and conditions.
Beef liver, rich in nutrients like iron, vitamins, and minerals, directly benefits the Liver and supports its functions.
Freeze-dried liver treats provide essential nutrients that strengthen the Liver and help maintain its health.
They also offer concentrated, nutrient-dense support for the Liver, promoting detoxification, energy flow, and overall vitality.
A dog with a ruptured cruciate ligament is an ideal candidate for liver treats. Since the Liver controls connective tissue, feeding liver treats helps strengthen the torn cruciate ligament.
Your ailing pet will begin to feel like its old self again!
Our liver treats contain one ingredient only - beef liver - and are additive-free and hypoallergenic by nature.
Each bag contains 4 ounces of tasty, nutritional goodness for cats and dogs!
You can give treats just for fun, or you can feed treats for a purpose. It's always better to feed treats for a purpose!

PET | TAO Beef Liver Treats are single-ingredient treats for dogs and cats. Each treat contains only freeze-dried beef liver with no added fillers, flavors, or preservatives. Serve them as a snack, training reward, or reconstituted as a food topper.
In Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, the Liver belongs to the Wood Element. The Liver and Gallbladder meridians govern detoxification, connective tissue health, and energy flow. The Wood Element also governs the emotions of anger and frustration, so beef liver treats support both physical liver health and emotional balance.
These treats may be especially helpful for pets with tendon or ligament issues, elevated liver enzymes, iron-deficiency anemia, or skin concerns like dandruff. They may also support pets that tend toward irritable, reactive, or emotionally tense temperaments. Treats should not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
For best results, follow these daily feeding guidelines:
Treat sizes may vary. Adjust the amount based on your pet's size, diet, and calorie needs.
