My vet prescribed the 90g concentrated powder of Wei Qi and Stasis Breaker for for my 50 lb dog. How many scoops should I give per day? Thanks
Thank you for your question!
The manufacturer's recommended dose range for Stasis Breaker Concentrated 90g Powder and Wei Qi Booster Concentrated 90g Powder is the following for each herbal formula:
For dog/cat: 0.1g to 0.25g per 10 to 20lbs twice daily. 1 small level scoop holds about 0.3g of powder
For Equine: 3g (2.5 scoops) twice daily. 1 large level scoop holds about 1.2g of powder.
It's important to find out your vet's recommendation based on your pet's specific condition since the dosing range is quite large. Some vets recommend starting with a lower dose and increasing based on how your dog is doing. The length of time the bottle will last depends on the dose your vet recommends in that range. What is my cost for a 100 capsule bottle of jing tang Wei Qi Booster? Capsule size says 0.5g and It is for a dog. Just trying to determine if I can get a better price through you as opposed to getting through my vet.

My Vet has been trying to contact you to order Wei Qi booster for my dog but he has not gotten a response I need it please let me know how we can order it
Thank you for your question! We haven't received any inquiries about this herb recently from a vet. Is it possible your vet is trying to contact the manufacturer, Jing Tang? They are a different company and can be contacted at help@tcvmherbal.com. Jing Tang sells to vets, while we sell direct to pet owners. Pricewise, it's a better deal for your vet to purchase from Jing Tang at wholesale price instead of purchasing from us at retail price. If you'd like to order from us, you can request veterinary authorization here: https://tcvmpet.com/pages/get-an-authorization
Do you ship to Mexico?
Thank you for your question! It's easiest to get herbs from a vet in your area, so we recommend checking here first: http://www.tcvm.com/Resources/InternationalPractitioners.aspx
If you have a veterinarian that will authorize your purchase but doesn't carry the herbs, you can email us at info@tcvmpet.com with your address and we will look into whether Mexico allows import of Eastern herbals. Thanks for supporting Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine!
Is this recommended for my female Golden w/cancer if spleen? Also, is it available only by prescription? Thank you for your help!
Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear about your dog's spleen cancer! Wei Qi Booster Formula is an Eastern Herbal often used to help with the immune system, along with other herbals such as Stasis Breaker or Max's Formula. Complement Immune and a Blood-Building diet are other good choices to boost the immune system after a cancer diagnosis. Depending on your pet, different herbals may be used. Vets may change the dose or herbal formula based on individual characteristics, constitution, and symptoms. We recommend checking with your vet to see what your pet's TCVM diagnosis is. A TCVM diagnosis helps your vet choose the correct herbal formula and dose. Also, your veterinarian's authorization is needed in order to purchase from us. You can request authorization here: https://tcvmpet.com/pages/get-an-authorization.

Hi my puppy has had mange she nearly fully recovered, I wanted to boost her immunity before vaccination with Wei Wei booster Is this advised she is about 13weeks old
Thanks for your question! While Wei Qi Booster can help with immunity, we require approval from your vet stating this herb is right for your pet's case.
The manufacturer, Jing Tang, requires us to keep a veterinary authorization on file for all Jing Tang Herbal product orders.
If you already have a vet and would like to request authorization, just fill out the form here: https://tcvmpet.com/pages/get-an-authorization
This is a great way to make sure our customers are purching the correct herb. There are hundreds of Chinese herbal formulas, and while many of them may help your pet, there is always one specific formula and specific dose that is best for your pet. Or, there is a combination of formulas that will help your pet the most. It's up to a veterinarian to determine this combination based on their training. Without this TCVM training, the incorrect herb or combination is often chosen.
Here is the list provided by Jing Tang of their vets (most TCVM vets went to the Chi Institute and use Jing Tang herbs) if you want to search further: https://store.tcvmherbal.com/Default.asp?
We also recommend PET | TAO Complement Immune to help boost immunity (no vet approval needed). This is a mushroom complex supplement with 5 immunity boosting mushrooms. You can learn about it here: https://tcvmpet.com/collections/supplements/products/pet-tao-complement-immune?variant=14649349996593
