The bottle says this is for dogs and cats but are these ingredients suitable for human use, in the strength and combination of herbs? Are there undesirable side-effects in human consumption?
Thank you for your question! The Jing Tang formulas are formulated for cats, dogs, and horses only, so we're not sure if they would work in a human. One company you may want to check out is Kan Herbals. They offer formulas for dogs, cats, horses, and humans. We carry their Kan Essentials line, which is all safe for humans. However, they have other lines that we do not carry that you can find in other stores. Thank you for supporting Traditional Chinese Medicine!
Approximately how many days or weeks or months might it take before I see any improvement, if at all? I give my 13lb dog 2 pills twice a day. I can ask my prescribing Veterinarian but would like to know from the source directly. Thank you.
Thank you for your question! Chinese Herbs are very gentle and slow-acting, so their effects are seen gradually rather than right away. This can also differ for each pet depending on their condition. It may take up to a month or more before optimal effects are seen. We recommend checking with your vet too. They can give you the most accurate estimate since they are most familiar with your dog's individual condition. Thank you for supporting Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine!
Hi. I have the product, which I purchased quite some time ago. The lot number is 901201700004. What is the expiration date? Thanks!
Thank you for your question! The Jing Tang herbal products are good for three years from the time they are sold.
