Potential Drug Interactions

As with all potent herbal formulas, Stasis Breaker may interact with certain conventional medications. Always inform your veterinarian of all supplements your pet is receiving. Your authorizing veterinarian will monitor for potential interactions through routine labwork, bloodwork panels, and other diagnostic testing as appropriate for your pet's condition. Key interactions to discuss include:

  • Anticoagulants (heparin, warfarin): E Zhu and San Leng are potent Blood-moving herbs that may potentiate anticoagulant effects and increase bleeding risk
  • Corticosteroids and immunosuppressants (prednisone, cyclosporine): Bai Hua She She Cao and Ban Zhi Lian have immune-modulating activity that may interact with immunosuppressive therapy
  • Chemotherapy agents: If your pet is undergoing chemotherapy, ensure all treating veterinarians are aware of this supplement - a conversation between your TCVM veterinarian and the veterinarian managing chemotherapy is strongly recommended
  • NSAIDs (Carprofen, Meloxicam): Combined use with Blood-moving herbs may increase GI sensitivity or bleeding risk in some animals
  • Cardiac medications and digoxin: Mild cardiac activity from Zhe Bei Mu warrants caution alongside cardiac medications
  • Antiplatelet medications: The Blood-invigorating action of E Zhu and San Leng may enhance antiplatelet effects; monitor closely

This list is not exhaustive. Your authorizing veterinarian is the best resource for evaluating interactions specific to your pet's health history and current medications.

Bottle comes with less product.

I use max formula and concentrated stasis breaker. This is a very good product, has kept the mast cell tumors at bay. The only issue I have is the stasis breaker has less in it than the max formula. Happens with every order. I weighed the bottles the last time, was missing an ounce. This stuff cost too much money to be shorted.

Stasis breaker capsules

I had been using the tincture but when it ran out I switched to the capsules. It seems to be helping Pepper to maintain his status in the face of nasal cancer. I find the capsules are pretty easy to give especially if you put a little butter on them to make them go down easier.

Maureen, thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review I am really sorry Pepper has nasal cancer. I am glad the Chinese herbs are offering some comfort to you and Pepper during a challenging time. The butter is a great tip! Some pets are unable to consume tinctures or powder and your review will spread awareness to their guardians about the ease of giving capsules. Thank you again. Sincerely, Samantha

Maybe if I had started him on them sooner?

My dog died 4 days after starting him on the Jing tang supplements, so I can’t really say they were helpful. He was 6 weeks in since his lymphoma diagnosis.
