IM VERY INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT TO TREAT A HORSE THAT HAS HIGH INSULIN LEVELS AROUND 438 AND GLUCOSE OF 112. WE SOAK HIS HAY AND HE IS ON A VERY VERY LOW SUGAR/STARCH DIET.
Thank you for your question!
I am sorry your horse is struggling! Dr. Smith is my vet, and he is one of the owners of our store. He recommended Chromium picolinate for my horse's insulin issues. It is possible this could help you too, but it's only available through vets with a prescription. I also removed grain from her diet, and that is helped. I think it's great that you're trying a low sugar diet.
As a side note, she's also on a different Jing Tang herbal formula, Hot Hoof 1, to balance the underlying endocrine causes of laminitis. The results have been wonderful for her.
As for Jiang Tang Cha, it's available on our site with veterinary approval. You can request approval from your vet under "Support" at the top of our homepage. If you need a vet, you can get a telemedicine consult with Dr. Smith if you'd like. You can reach him through www.franklintnvet.com.
