QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I got the concentrated hindquarter weakness powder. There was no scoop included. I have no idea how to dose this in grams. Sheā€™s 60lbs. Would it be 1/4 tsp?

Thank you for your question! We're so sorry there was no scoop included. Our items are drop-shipped by the manufacturer, Jing Tang, so we'll remind them to make sure a scoop is included next time! The scoop that is normally included with concentrated powders is double-ended. The large end is 1.5g and the small end is 0.5g. The large end is 1/4 tsp and the small end is 1/8 tsp.

  • What is the best way to administer this powder to an aging cat?

Thank you for your question. We're sorry to hear you're dealing with an aging cat who isn't feeling well. We recommend trying teapills for cats, or mixing the powder into some wet food or juice such as tuna or salmon juice. If you are able to administer pills to your cat, we recommend teapills rather than capsules as they are smaller. All forms of these herbal formulas (teapills, capsules, and powders) contain the same herbal ingredients. I hope this helps, please let us know if you need further assistance.

  • Which Dr. Xie supplement would be best for a German Shepard 8 yrs of age diagnosed w/Degenerative Myelopathy? Would it be Hind Quarter Weakness? Thank you!

Thank you for your question! Hindquarter Weakness Formula often supports dogs with Degenerative Myelopathy. You can read more about it here: https://pettao.com/dog-hind-leg-weakness/. Your vet will be able to help you decide on the proper herbal formula for your dog's condition, along with the precise dose depending on your dog's TCVM signs such as tongue, pulse, and constitution. Also, your veterinarian's authorization is needed in order to purchase from us. You can request authorization here: https://tcvmpet.com/pages/get-an-authorization.

Dog wonā€™t eat it.

Our vet recommended it, and Iā€™ve tried virtually everything I can think of, but our dog wants no part of it. I finally got three doses into him by mixing it with ice cream, but heā€™s onto that now and turns his head away.
