The tincture is very thick, for this and the Stasis Breaker, I am having trouble with dosing. At 7.5 kg my dog should get a dropperful, but is is impossible to get a full dropper or even count drops. Is there another way to measure this?
Hi! Thank you for your question!
Please be informed that the tincture is oil based with a whitefish flavor and has a thick almost syrupy consistency. As per the manufacturer, Jing Tang, the standard dosing for tinctures is 10 drops on top of food per 5-10lbs of body weight twice daily or as suggested by a veterinarian for small dogs and cats. One full dropper (1mL) equals approximately 20 drops.
Please contact your vet for an updated dosing. Vets usually choose a specific form and dose in that range based on individual characteristics, constitution, and symptoms.
