Thanks for your question! The 0.5g capsules are roughly half an inch long. They are designed for dogs, while the 0.2g capsules are designed for small dogs and cats. Also, you can open up the capsules and mix the powder into food if your dog has any trouble swallowing the capsules.
My male dog is 15 years old. Last year, he was diagnosed with arthritis, in his shoulders, rear back, and hips. His balance has become poor, and he cannot walk well without my assistance. If we go on "long" walks (we used to go on 1 mile walks nightly...now, we're down to one block, if that), I use his wheelchair. He drags ("knuckles") his right rear paw, so, when he goes outside, I put on a bootie, to protect his paw. Question: What size gel capsule should I buy (he weighs approximately 35 pounds...he has lost weight, because he only wants to eat one meal a day)? How often should he take one capsule (I assume I should give a capsule after he eats?)? And- two final questions: Do you ship to Taiwan? I am a retired U.S. citizen, living in Taiwan. Do I have to sign-in, to order, or can I do a "Guest Checkout?" I await your reply. Thank you, very much.
Hi! Thanks for your question!
We require herbal authorization from a vet for all TCVM herb purchases. We are currently able to ship within the US only.
We recommed you check with your vet to help you choose the right formula or combination of herbal formulas based on your dog's varied symptoms and the formula that will be most effective for your dog's health situation and case, also to help fully resolve the issue properly through TCVM.They choose a dose in that range based on individual characteristics, constitution, and symptoms. Dosing and duration depend on the weight of the animal and its condition. Dosing and duration for the formula can vary from patient to patient.
