Proprietary blend, 100 mg: Neem oil, rosemary oil, basil oil, and eucalyptus oil.
Neem oil (Azadirachta indica): Neem is the primary botanical anchor of this formula. In Ayurveda, neem is traditionally valued for its bitter, astringent, cooling character and its place in skin care. Modern botanical research explores neem constituents for antimicrobial and skin-supporting activity, providing context for its inclusion in topical preparations. Here, neem oil contributes to the formula's focus on comfortable ears and healthy skin, rather than serving as an oral supplement.
Rosemary oil (Rosmarinus officinalis): Rosemary contributes an aromatic component to the four-oil blend and supports ear hygiene and tissue comfort. Its traditional topical uses and research into its antimicrobial properties complement neem's skin-care focus.
Basil oil (Ocimum basilicum): Basil oil adds a fresh herbal aroma and complements the formula's cleansing and comfort-support roles. Its traditional topical uses and botanical antimicrobial properties contribute to soothing skin care. This is basil oil, not the holy basil leaf used in many oral Ayurvedic formulas.
Eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus): Eucalyptus contributes a cooling aromatic character to the topical blend and supports ear cleanliness and comfort. Its use here is in the finished ear-and-skin preparation, not as an instruction to apply undiluted eucalyptus essential oil or give it orally.
These traditional attributes describe neem, the formula's principal botanical, rather than a measured energetic profile for the complete oil blend.
Ayurveda in veterinary medicine has focused on animal welfare, treatment therapies, management, and surgery. With this focus, Ayush Herbs designed products that support animals from head to paw while promoting optimal health and performance. Their pet supplements share the same formulation as their human-based line and meet or exceed stringent requirements. In addition, holistic practitioners across the United States, Canada, and India have endorsed their products. Ayush Pet respects animal life; therefore, no animal testing has been performed on any of their products.
Neem Ear Drops support ear comfort and healthy skin in dogs and cats. The four-oil blend is intended for targeted ear and topical skin application, including dry or itchy spots.
For ear application, place 10 to 15 drops directly into the affected ear canal once daily and massage lightly, or as directed by your veterinarian. For skin application, apply a few drops directly onto the affected area and gently rub, or as directed by your veterinarian. Use externally and prevent licking of treated skin.
No. It is a proprietary blend of neem oil, rosemary oil, basil oil, and eucalyptus oil. Neem supplies the central Ayurvedic skin-care focus, while the other aromatic oils complement the formula's ear-hygiene and comfort roles.
These drops are an oil-based preparation for targeted ear and skin care. An ear rinse is used to wash away wax and debris, while an oral neem supplement has different ingredients, serving directions, and intended use. Do not substitute the drops for an oral product or a flushing rinse.
