Herbsmith Rx Forsthyia Summer Heat Formula is a classic formula to assist in the management of Anhidrosis in horses.

CHINESE THEORY

Summer heat is one of the 6 exogenous pathogens that invade the body causing disease. Summer heat is unique in that it only occurs in summer-like temperatures or the summer season. Anhidrosis is a classic form of summer heat in the horse. The herbs in Herbsmith Rx Forsthyia Summer Heat are herbs used to clear summer heat.

Treatment Principles: Clears summer heat, clears heat toxin, eliminates dampness, and opens to the exterior

INGREDIENTS:

  • Xiang Ru / Elsholtzia
  • Jin Yin Hua / Honeysuckle Flower – Lonicera
  • Bai Bain / Dolichos
  • Lian Qiao / Forsythia Fruit
  • Hou Po / Magnolia Bark
  • Inactive Ingredients (in Flax Plus only)Ground Flax Seed

SUGGESTED USE:

(For the 1000 lb Horse)

TRADITIONAL FORMULAS: Administer two (2) tablespoons twice daily for the initial twenty days. Then, administer two (2) tablespoons once a day thereafter. Note: In the event, the horse refuses to eat herbs, start with small amounts in the grain until the horse is acquainted with the taste, or try the Flax Plus version of this formula. Almost all horses will eat the herbs in their grain.

FLAX PLUS: Administer one (1) scoop twice daily for the initial twenty days. Then, administer one (1) scoop daily thereafter. Six tablespoon scoop included.

PRECAUTIONS: Not to be used in pregnant mares.

        VETERINARY AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED.
