My vet just prescribed this for my cat we think he spang his leg went he jumped down how long does it take to see if this is working
Thank you for your question! Herbs are slow to start working since they are not as potent as drugs. Depending on your cat's condition, it could take up to a month for the herbs to start working. Please check with your vet as well, since they are the expert on your cat's individual characteristics and medical situation.
Is this product good for dogs with degenerative myelopathy? What are the ingredients in English please.
Thank you for your question! For most pets, many helps may help a certain diagnosis, but there is usually one herb or combination of herbs that has the best effect. There are hundreds of different Eastern herbal formulas - for this reason, it takes a vet trained in TCVM to properly recommend a TCVM herb. That being said, Hindquarter Weakness is often an herb of choice for pets with degenerative myelopathy. You can learn more about this herb here and request a vet authorization here. Also, we're working on getting the English names of each herb for all of our product pages. Currently, you can google each ingredient in Chinese and the name will come up. Thank you for your patience!
Does anyone know if the Chinese herbal supplement Body Sore increases liver enzymes?
Thank you for your question! An increase in liver enzymes is not a known side effect of Jing Tang herbal formulas. The only known side effects are mild gastrointestinal distress at the start of herbal administration which usually resolves in a few days. If you have any questions or concerns, please check with your veterinarian as they know your pet's individual situation best. Thank you for supporting Chinese medicine!
I am unsure if this is the right formula for my cat. He is wasting away after suffering from hyperthyroidism. He's on homeopathic remedies for the thyroid, but my homeopath hasn't been able to help the weight loss and he looks terrible. I was told by another company who's formulas I've used in the past for other cat ailments to seek out TCM for spleen help. Thank you.
Thanks for your question! TCVM can often successfully address feline hyperthyroidism. However, without examing your cat, our TCVM vets on staff are unable to recommend the appropriate formula for him. Jing Tang's Body Sore herbal formula is usually used for musculoskeletal pain, soft tissue injuries, and back pain. There may be a more appropriate formula for your cat designed to support the underlying imbalances involved in hyperthyroidism. We recommend getting the advice of a TCVM vet. If you'd like to look for one, please visit this link to find a TCVM vet in your area: https://www.ahvma.org/find-a-holistic-veterinarian/. Also, Jing Tang herbals require approval from your vet before we can dispense them. If you'd like to request authorization from your vet, please visit this link: https://tcvmpet.com/pages/get-an-authorization. Thank you for supporting TCVM, and please contact us with any questions!
