My son's 1 year old mini pomsky tested positive for Lyme last week. She is only 18lbs. She has no symptoms and was not put on antibiotics. What is the suggested protocol? I follow several sites that suggest ledum and other herbs and some had negative blood tests after treatment. I just signed up for your site and looking at downloads for my older cushings/diabetic with non biopsied growths on her liver.
Thank you for your question!
Here's more information about the herb;
Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium via by the bite of infected ticks. Typical clinical signs include fever, sore body, exercise intolerance. In TCVM, Lyme disease is caused by pathogenic Wind-Damp Toxin when the body's Wei Qi is so weak to defend the pathogens. The invasion of Wind-Heat Toxin leads to Qi-blood stagnation and sore body. The key to treat lyme disease is to boost Wei Qi, clear Wind, drain Damp, resolve Stagnation. Lyme Formula is based combination of two classical herbal formulas: Yu Ping Feng San (Jade Screen), and Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang.
TCVM Indications:
Please note that Jing Tang herbs require vet authorization and need a consultation with a TCVM-trained veterinarian to find the formula that will be most effective for your dog's health situation.
