Are there any side effects of taking Jing Tang Heart Qi Tonic Concentrated 7500mg Tincture? If so what are they? My vet has said use as needed for anxiety, but I have read that it takes some time to see results , so should I be giving it to my dog everyday in order to see results?
Hi! Thanks for your question.
TCVM herbs are safe for pets and there are no side effects.
Herbal formulas take approximately 2-3 weeks to start working. Maximum benefits occur within 6 weeks. Your pet may need a 1-2 week period for his/her body to adjust to the herbs. And it's different for every pet, and a vet can help explain what to expect for his specific pet's case during a consult.
The manufacture's standard dosing instruction for tincture is 10 drops on top of food per 5-10lbs of body weight twice daily or as suggested by a veterinarian.
