What’s Inside

  • Changes worth discussing: An overview of signs covered in the guide, including changes in appetite, weight, energy, breathing, and bathroom habits.
  • Lumps, bumps, and tumors: Discussion of different growths and the role of veterinary testing in determining what they are.
  • Cancer types and terminology: Sections on lymphoma, skin cancer, bone cancer, and other cancers, with discussion of grading and staging.
  • Conventional care options: Introductions to surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and other veterinary treatment topics.
  • Holistic perspectives: Discussion of nutrition, herbs, supplements, and complementary approaches to review with your dog’s care team.
  • Finding veterinary support: An overview of general veterinary practices, holistic veterinarians, specialty clinics, and cancer treatment centers.

A Starting Point for More Informed Conversations

You don’t have to evaluate every option on your own. Use this guide to become familiar with the topics, write down questions, and discuss care that reflects your dog’s diagnosis, comfort, and individual needs.

Originally published in 2017, the ebook includes treatment, supplement, diet, prevention, cost, and prognosis claims that require review against current veterinary guidance. Use it as background reading, not a current treatment protocol. Its inclusion of a therapy does not establish that the therapy is safe or effective for your dog. Review all herbs and supplements with your veterinarian before use, particularly during cancer treatment.

This educational resource cannot diagnose a lump, replace veterinary care, or guarantee cancer prevention, improvement, or survival. Have new or changing growths and concerning symptoms assessed by your veterinarian rather than using the guide to self-diagnose. Seek urgent veterinary care for breathing difficulty, collapse, or sudden severe illness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this ebook cover?

It introduces signs discussed in relation to canine cancer, lumps and tumors, several cancer types, diagnostic topics, treatment options, and holistic perspectives. It also discusses veterinary care settings and questions surrounding prognosis.

Can the guide tell me whether my dog’s lump is cancer?

No. The guide provides background information, not a diagnosis. Growths can look similar while having different causes, so have your veterinarian assess any new or changing lump and determine whether testing is needed.

Does it include nutrition, herbs, and supplements?

Yes. It discusses these alongside conventional treatment options. Because the ebook was published in 2017 and some claims require current review, do not treat its recommendations as a personalized care plan. Ask your veterinarian about safety, evidence, and potential interactions before adding any complementary approach.

How do I receive my free copy?

Add the ebook to your cart at no charge and complete checkout to receive the 46-page PDF download. This is a digital resource, not a printed book, so no physical item will be shipped.
