Animal Essentials Herbal Ear Rinse is an all-natural topical formula made with certified organic herbs and therapeutic-grade botanicals to gently cleanse the outer ear canal in dogs and cats. It flushes away excess earwax, dirt, and debris while supporting the body's natural defenses against bacteria, fungi, and parasites - making it ideal for routine ear maintenance and post-swim care. Safe for dogs and cats of all ages.
Distilled water, cider vinegar, aloe vera, calendula, witch hazel, olive leaf, certified organic goldenseal, and vegetable glycerin.
Apply liberally to the exterior of the ear and into the ear canal using the applicator tip. After application, gently massage the base of the ear to help loosen debris, then wipe away dirt and excess solution with clean gauze or a soft tissue. Do not insert the tip deeply into the ear canal. Repeat as needed for routine maintenance or as directed by your veterinarian.
For routine ear maintenance, most pet owners use the rinse once every one to two weeks. Dogs who swim regularly may benefit from rinsing after each swim to remove moisture and prevent buildup. Pets with a history of ear sensitivity may need more frequent use - consult your veterinarian for a schedule tailored to your pet's needs.
Yes. The formula is safe for cats of all ages. Cats tend to have more sensitive ears than dogs, so apply gently and avoid over-saturating the canal. If your cat shows signs of pain, excessive head shaking, or discharge after use, discontinue and consult your veterinarian, as these may indicate an underlying condition that needs professional attention.
This product is formulated for routine ear cleaning and maintenance, not as a treatment for active infections. If your pet is showing signs of an ear infection - such as strong odor, discharge, significant redness, or pain - consult your veterinarian before using any ear rinse. Cleaning an infected ear without proper diagnosis can sometimes worsen the condition or interfere with prescribed treatments.
