KAN ESSENTIALS SUBLIME JOINT FORMULA

ABOUT THE HERBS

Sublime Joint Formula (Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin) is inspired by Sublime Formula for Sustaining Life, first described over 500 years ago by Bi Li-Zhai in Revised Formulas for Women. Sublime Joint Formula is designed to expel invasion in the channels, causing Qi or Blood stasis in the superficial layers of the body. Prolonged stasis generates Heat that contributes to the transformation of the trapped invasion into Phlegm Fire. The formula serves to transform Phlegm obstructions and expel Wind while simultaneously clearing Heat. Dong quai root tail, Frankincense resin and Myrrh resin move the Blood. Trichosanthes root and Honeysuckle flower clear Heat and transform Phlegm. Fragrant angelica root assists in dispersing clumping accumulations. Gleditsia spine dispels Phlegm Fire and opens the channels. Dong quai root tail, Chinese red peony root, Frankincense resin and Myrrh resin move Blood obstructed by Damp Heat and alleviate stagnation. Tangerine dried rind of mature fruit moves Qi stagnating from Phlegm accumulation.
