My pet has cancer on his adrenal gland .. I’ve read sugar Is not a good thing for your pet to have if he has cancer.. So my question is how much of maltodextrin is in your Eight Righteous concentrated powder.. ?
We contacted the manufacturer, Jing Tang. They explained that the maltodextrin in the Concentrated powder is about 45% to provide 5:1 concentration. This would be the same for all of our concentrated formulas. The regular formulas do not contain any inactive ingredients (maltodextrin or others). We recommend discussing the situation with your TCVM vet, as he/she should be able to clarify for you if the maltodextrin poses a problem in your pet's particular situation, and, if so, recommend a different herbal blend in a non-concentrated formula.
