Animal Essentials Seasonal Allergy + Quercetin Herbal Support Powder for Dogs and Cats (2.5oz)

Animal Essentials Seasonal Allergy + Quercetin supports a balanced response to seasonal and environmental changes in dogs and cats. Four certified organic herbs, nettle, burdock, licorice, and eyebright, are paired with quercetin and bromelain for skin, eye, and respiratory comfort support. The powder fits into your pet's mealtime routine, offering botanical and flavonoid support during changes in pollen, grasses, or dust. Available in a 2.5 oz container.

What It Supports

  • Seasonal balance: Supports a normal immune response during seasonal and environmental changes.
  • Skin comfort: Combines herbs and quercetin to complement your pet's seasonal skin-support routine.
  • Eye and respiratory comfort: Includes herbs traditionally associated with eye and upper-airway comfort.
  • Mealtime convenience: A powder that can be incorporated into food using the product's scoop.

About the Key Ingredients

Each 1 g serving provides 850 mg of the four-herb proprietary blend, 100 mg quercetin dihydrate, and 50 mg bromelain. Individual herb amounts are not disclosed. Traditional uses and constituent research explain the ingredient choices without promising a particular clinical response to the finished powder.

Nettle leaf (Urtica species): Nettle contributes polyphenols and flavonoids investigated for antioxidant and immune-response properties. These constituents provide context for its inclusion in a seasonal-support blend.

Niu Bang Gen (Arctium lappa) - Burdock root: Burdock root contains inulin and phenolic compounds studied for prebiotic and antioxidant properties. It brings a complementary botanical profile to the blend.

Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza glabra) - Licorice root: In TCVM, Gan Cao traditionally tonifies Qi, moistens the Lung, and harmonizes herbal formulas. From a Western perspective, glycyrrhizin and flavonoids have been investigated for their effects on inflammatory pathways.

Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) - Herb: Eyebright has traditional uses associated with eye and upper-airway comfort. Its iridoids and flavonoids have been investigated in botanical research, providing context for its role in a seasonal comfort formula.

Quercetin dihydrate: Quercetin is a plant flavonoid studied for antioxidant activity and its influence on immune signaling. This powder supplies 100 mg per 1 g serving, adding a measured flavonoid component alongside the whole-herb blend.

Bromelain - Pineapple enzyme: Bromelain consists of protein-digesting enzymes researched for their effects on inflammatory processes. The powder supplies 50 mg per 1 g serving, complementing the herbs and quercetin.

Cautions

Have no idea!

Both of my dogs would not eat the supplement, no matter how I tried to disguise the taste. Wasn’t able to return it. Waste of money!
