How exactly does this work? My vet prescribed me a jar. I'm worried about using it because I don't really know how it's supposed to work. How soon before my bitch is due should I start it? How long do I continue to use it? When I stop it, will my girl come in season right away? She's not going to be bred, but I'd like to keep her intact for awhile yet due to the fact she's a golden retriever and they are prone to cancer when spayed earlier.
