My horse has had corneal ulcers this year has had rubbed back by vet with a cotton bud also tried about 4 different antibiotics. Has tested negative to bacteria and viruses on a swab. Had a diamond abrasions in vet which eventually stop weeping but has just started up again. Frustrating. Has a small white patch which may be another ulcer forming vet coming again tomorrow to check. They will probably refer me to the eye specialist with a view to a grid keratotomy. Iām worried this wonāt even work if it is autoimmune????

I have a 35-year-old Arab who has had chronic uveitis issues for a number of years and the frequency of them seems to be increasing. My vet has not had success controlling them well. Does the Haliotis formula only come in a powder? My horse seems to be very sensitive to powders and is a finicky eater.

We just categorized the powders in the "Horse" section of our website because powder is the most cost-effective form of the herbs to give horses. The capsules contain the same herbs, just in a different form of administration.
